Gabriel Francis Kuhlman, 7, of Owatonna, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Naylor's Pond in Wasioja Township in Dodge County, Minnesota. He was born December 20, 2010, in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Justin and Jamie (Lynch) Kuhlman. Jesus came and took Gabriel into his arms and together they went to heaven. Gabriel was only 7 years old when tragically he drowned while on an outing with his brother, a friend, and his friend's parent. Gabriel loved life and had a big heart! He had a smile and a hug for everyone he met. He loved nature and playing outside with his brothers and his pet dog, Mika. One of his favorite pastimes was family game night. He was excited to be starting in the second grade at McKinley School in the fall. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He is survived by his parents, Justin and Jamie Kuhlman of Owatonna; brothers, Dominic, James, Daniel and Benjamin all of Owatonna; grandparents, Bob and Jackie Kuhlman of Faribault and Jerry and Genney Lynch of Owatonna; special grandpa, Jerry Kinde of Faribault; uncles and aunts, Andrew (Shelly) Lynch of Lone Jack, MO, Katie Lynch of Owatonna, Rob (Sandy) Kuhlman of Faribault, Lisa (Jay) Paquette of Faribault and Nathan (Kari) Kuhlman of Northfield; special auntie, Jana (Jeremy) Mickelson of Owatonna; great-grandparents, Phyllis Kuhlman, Elgia Cloutier and Paul Cloutier and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Arnold Kuhlman, Dennis and Valeria Lynch, Lavonne Hohnecker and special grandma, Mary Kinde. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna on Sunday, July 22nd from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and at church on Monday one hour prior to the Mass. A Funeral Mass will be held on July 23, 2018, at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Owatonna with Father John Sauer officiating. Interment will be in the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault.
