Georgyann "Georgy" Ilene Brookins, 75, of Ellendale, died Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Lakeshore Rehabilitation Center in Waseca.

She was born the daughter of George and Erna (Buttenhoff) Brocker on May 2, 1948 in Owatonna where she grew up.

She was married to Michael Piepho and Joseph Brookins, both of whom preceded her in death.

Georgy worked as a bank teller in Owatonna. In June of 2023, she entered Lakeshore Rehabilitation Center in Waseca when her health began to decline. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, listening to country music and fishing.

She is survived by daughters, Heather (and Shane) Cox of Grand Rapids, MI and Angel Piepho of Mankato; sister, Carole (and James) Ebeling of Owatonna; grandchildren, Elijah and Abby; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Erna; husbands, Michael Piepho and Joseph Brookins and sister, Betty Guse.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM at Owatonna Memorial Gardens in Clinton Falls Township north of Owatonna.
