Gilvia G. 'Gill' Rosenau, 98, of Owatonna, died Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Owatonna Care Center. He was born May 23, 1913 in Meriden Township, the son of Herman and Elizabeth (Sexter) Rosenau. Gill moved to Havana Township at a young age and attended District 65 School. Gill then worked for area farmers before starting to farm on his own. Gill married Theresia Frodl June 8, 1965 at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Theresia died in 2002. He is survived by his sister in law Helen Frodl of Owatonna. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 1 brother, and 1 sister. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Monday September 26, 2011 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Monday September 26, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with The Reverend Kirk Griebel officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna.
