Gladys M. Ballstadt, 85, of Owatonna, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Park Place Senior Congregate and Assisted Living in Owatonna. Gladys Ballstadt was born March 20, 1929 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of Harold and Mary (Grobner) Enzenauer. Gladys graduated from Owatonna High School class of 1947. She was united in marriage to Lowell H. Ballstadt on July 20, 1950. Gladys worked for Lakeside Foods in Owatonna for over 30 years before retiring in 1997. She enjoyed the outdoors, polka music, reading and above all else spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons, Scott Ballstadt, of Owatonna, Jerry Ballstadt, of Owatonna, Ron (Tammy) Ballstadt, of Owatonna; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, brother LaVern Ike (Lavila) Enzenauer, of Owatonna and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Lowell, son Randall, granddaughter Christian, brother Harold Enzenauer and her parents. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday, July 18, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service in the church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Associated Church with The Reverend Katherine Gibson Christensen officiating.
