Gwendolyn Gwen E. Buscho, 79, of Owatonna, died Friday, March 13, 2015 at Koda Living community. She was born June 14, 1935 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the daughter of Al and Helen (Canaday) Krippner. Gwen graduated in 1953 from high school in Cedar Rapids, IA, and was then united in marriage to Eldon Buscho June 28, 1953 in Cedar Rapids. She worked as a switch board operator for Bell Telephone Company, and was an American Red Crossjunior life saver in her younger years. She worked as a dairy farmer with her husband for many years. She was very active with the Owatonna Arts Center, and the Steele and Waseca County Historical Societies. She is survived by her children Kirk (Kathy) Buscho of Phoenix, Jody Buscho of Minneapolis, Karl (Deb) Buscho of Waseca, and Jon (Michelle) Buscho of Fort Lupton, CO. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren and two brothers Ray (Clarice) Krippner of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Ken (Pat) Krippner of St. Louis, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sons Brent and James. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday March 25, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Thursday March 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Haug officiating. Memorials are preferred to the Owatonna Arts Center.
