Harley S. Randall, 79, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Lake Delavan Resort in Delavan, WI. He was born October 7, 1930 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Stanley and Edith (Munson) Randall. Harley attended school in Owatonna, and started farming with his father at an early age. He joined the United States Marine Corp where he served from 1951-1954. Harley married Marcy Dusek April 7, 1956. Harley worked as an electronic technician at the Owatonna Canning Company retiring at age 65. In 1968 he was appointed Steele County Deputy Registrar, and he and his wife have owned and operated the License Bureau for over forty-two years. Harley enjoyed softball, and was inducted into the Softball Hall of Fame in 1995 as a sponsor; he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, and traveling. He is survived by his wife Marcy Randall of Owatonna; three children Randy Randall of Owatonna, Roxanne (and Darrell) Muncy of Denton, TX, Renee (and Howard) Putter of Flower Mound, TX, seven grandchildren Josh, Shelby, and Shannon Randall, Amanda and Angela Muncy, and Kaleigh and Lexi Putter. He is also survived by two sisters Donna Broadway of Spring, TX, and Barbara (and Virgil) Peterson of Owatonna, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Ilah Boettcher, and brother Charles Randall. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Monday January 18, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at Trinity Lutheran Church on Tuesday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Funeral service will be held Tuesday January 19, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church with The Reverend Dean Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery in Faribault with honors provided by the Steele County Military Funeral Unit. Memorials are preferred to Senior Place, American Heart Association, the Hospice House of Owatonna, or WFLA.
