Harold Wandell Severson, 71, of Cannon Falls, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Faribault Care Center. He was born December 3, 1939 in Beeville, Texas the son of Harold C. and Ruth (Wandell) Severson. Harold graduated from Kenyon High School and later attended Winona State University. He served in the US Navy from 1958 - 1962. On July 27, 1968 he married Linda Glynn. She later preceded him in death. Harold was a baker at Hi Quality Bakery for several years. He also worked as a gas station attendant and for an auto supply store. Harold loved cars and trains, was an avid reader, had a special gift for writing and was fond of dogs and cats. Harold is survived by his son, Travis Severson of Red Wing; sisters, Dianne (and Harry) Wright of Wanamingo, Kathy (and Jerry) Hogy of Redwood Falls, Christine Lingk of Rochester and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife and an infant sister. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, Kenyon on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 from 1pm to 2pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 2, 2011 at 2pm at Michaelson Funeral Home, Kenyon. Interment will be in the Kenyon Cemetery in Kenyon.
