Harriet Mae Reineke, 94, of Owatonna, died Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. She was born on August 29, 1924 in Stillwater, Minnesota the daughter of Elmer and Edith Rust. As a child she moved with her family to Webster, Wisconsin where she attended school and graduated from high school. She worked as a waitress at a number of places and also in the offices of Montgomery Wards. In 1967, she married George Reineke and the couple made their home in Owatonna. While living in Owatonna, she worked at Federated insurance for 15 years retiring in 1983. Harriet Mae was an avid reader and in earlier years enjoyed needle work and craft work. She is survived by her sons, Lawerence Flater of Owatonna and Calvin Flater of White Bear Lake; brother, Meryl Rust of Texas; two nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George (1983) and a nephew. A visitation will be held from 10-11am on Monday, October 1, 2018, at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, October 1, 2018, at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna. Interment will be in the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault.
