Harry Ervin Westphal, 90, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Traditions of Owatonna II. Harry was born August 4, 1921 in Stewart, Minnesota the son of John and Anna (Kranke) Westphal. He was raised and attended school in Stewart and later farmed in Kandiyohi and Renville County. Harry then worked for Kvam Implement in Willmar. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by two sisters, Hazel Butenhoff of Renville; Anne Aschley of Shakopee; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Willard Becherer, Chester, Leonard, Virgil, Raymond and Herbert Westphal, two sisters, Lula Westphal and Olga Jorgenson. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 2:00 PM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Stewart, Minnesota with The Reverend Robert Lehnar officiating. Interment will be in the Round Grove Lakeside Cemetery in Stewart. Arrangements by Michaelson Funeral Home, Owatonna.
