Harvey Urch, 86 a life long resident of West Concord died at his home on November 25, 2010. Harvey was born on August 9, 1924 to Fred and Mattie Urch in rural West Concord. He married Evelyn French on August 1, 1944. They farmed near West Concord until he was employed at Wenger Corp in Owatonna. During his 32 years at Wenger he worked in Research and Development where he helped develop many patented products. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and enjoyed the fellowship and service at Faith Community Church where he was a member. Harvey enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, gardening, travel, woodworking and using his ingenuity to improve almost everything around him. But the love of his life was his wife Evelyn and his family. He is survived by his wife Evelyn and children, Carol (Richard) Hochreiter, Mavis Holden, Vicki (Mark) Gustafson, Barbara (Timothy) Byrne, Rebecca (Loren) Montague, Frederick (Mary) Urch, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. His parents, brothers, Irving, Paul, Earl, Ralph and Wilfred, son Lowell, granddaughter Chelsea Montague, preceded Harvey in death. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Michaelson Funeral Home in West Concord. The memorial services will be at Faith Community on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 1:00.
