Hazel L. Kyllo, 85, of West Concord, died Monday, March 3, 2008 at the Kenyon Sunset Home. She was born July 2, 1922 in Cherry Grove Twsp., Goodhue Co, the daughter of Helmer and Thilda (Kolstad) Germundson. Hazel attended country school in Cherry Grove Twsp., and graduated from Kenyon High School, she married Frank Kyllo April 4, 1940 at Dale Lutheran church. Hazel and Frank farmed together in Dodge County. She was a member of Hegre Lutheran Church, and belonged to the church ladies aid, she enjoyed reading and cooking. Hazel is survived by her husband Frank, daughter Karen (Darrel) Faulkner of West Concord, and son Rod (Katherine) Kyllo of Owatonna. Eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great great grandson, and one sister Evelyn Germundson of Kenyon also survive Hazel. Two brothers preceded her in death. Funeral service will be Friday March 7 at 11AM at Hegre Lutheran Church with the Reverend John Hagen officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
