Inez Lorraine Spitzack, 89, of Blooming Prairie formerly of Owatonna, died Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Prairie Manor Care Center. Inez was born September 10, 1926 in Freeborn County, Minnesota the daughter of William and Ida (Guttormson) Williamson. She was raised in Freeborn County and also attended country school. She was married to Peder Madson and from this union had five children. Inez was a homemaker, but her one job she loved the most was being a loving mother and caring for her children and grandchildren. Peder and Inez later divorced. Inez then married Neil Spitzack on March 27, 1976 in Byron. The couple made their home in Owatonna. Neil died in 2003. Inez always had a smile on her face and had a great sense of humor. She was one of the first venders at the Owatonna Farmer's Market where she was known as the Gladiola Lady selling her gladiola flowers. She entered some of her grown flowers in the Steele County Free Fair and won many ribbons. Inez also enjoyed going with her husband, Neil, and listened to his band as he played the accordion. She also enjoyed dancing. She is survived by two daughters Betty Bush of Owatonna; Linda (and Pat) Goodnature of Geneva; two sons Jim Madson of Bertha; Steve (and Paula) Madson of Owatonna; a daughter-in-law Marie Madson in California; two brothers, James (and Sonja) Williamson of Austin; Loren (and George Andrea) Williamson of Cottage Grove; 14 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
