Irene Ethel Wilson, 83, of Dodge Center, formerly of West Concord died Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Fairview Care Center, Dodge Center. Irene was born October 4, 1931 in Ellington Township, Minnesota the daughter of Henry and Ethel (Clark) Johnson. She was raised in Dodge Center and also attended school there. She then moved to the Twin Cities. Irene was united in marriage to Andrew Wilson on May 17, 1955 in Elgin, Minnesota. The couple made their home in West Concord where they owned and operated AT's Caf�© until selling it in 1978. They moved to Glenwood City, Wisconsin where they operated the Glenwood City Golf Course. After their retirement the couple moved back to West Concord in 1988. Andrew died in 1991. Irene stayed living in West Concord until moving into the Fairview Care Center. One of her joys in her life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with them, visiting and baking sugar cookies with them. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking crocheting and making doilies. She is survived by a daughter, Cathy (and Scott) Rohwer of Dodge Center; four grandchildren, Travis (and Heather) Smith; James Rohwer; Ashley Rohwer; and Andrew Rohwer. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Miley and Maverick Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Wilson; her parents; a daughter, Sandy Smith; a sister, Dorothy Lovejoy and her brothers, Herbert, Henry Jr., Harold, Wesley, Dalon, Earl, Donald, Robert, Raymond, Harry, Stuart and Allen. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, West Concord on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home, West Concord with The Reverend Chris Brekke officiating.
