James Darel Walker, 56, of Kenyon, died Saturday, May 11, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
James was born April 9, 1963 in Owatonna, the son of Darel and Carole (Rhodes) Walker. James attended various schools around the country before graduating in Arizona. He then went on to obtain an associate's degree before beginning his career as an electrician. James worked as a Master Electrician for Shattuck St. Mary's in Faribault. James was engaged to be married to Lynda Barrett, the mother of his only son, Tyler.
His hobbies included fishing, watching Nascar, and rooting for the Denver Broncos.
James will be missed. He is survived by his son, Tyler Walker; fiancée, Lynda Barrett of Kenyon; mother, Carole Walker of West Concord; sister, Laurie (Ted) Bolognani of New Hampshire; nephews, Evan and James; and many more friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Darel.
Visitation will be on Friday at Michaelson Funeral Home, West Concord from 6-7pm. Memorial service will be held at 7pm on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Michaelson Funeral Home, West Concord with Reverend Joyce Parker officiating. Interment will be in the Concord Cemetery at a later date. Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
