Janell Phyllis Lester, 59, of Owatonna, died Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Faribault Care Center. She was born January 17, 1953 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of Phyllis and Corvin Ditlevson. She attended Blooming Prairie High School. She worked for Federated Insurance for 27 years taking an early retirement. Following her retirement, she worked various jobs until ill health. She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Kruckeberg of Owatonna; sons, Scott (and Tracy) Harty of Claremont, and Rodney Lester of Owatonna; daughter, Kristi Lester of Faribault; step sons, Michael (and Misty) Lester of Indiana and Terry Lester of Waseca; brother, Gary (and Alice) Ditlevson; former husband, Ronald Lester of Owatonna; four grandchildren, Justin, Kevin, Ethan, and Yasmine. Visitation will be at Trinity Lutheran Church on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church with The Reverend Julie Malone officiating. Interment will be in the Danish Baptist Cemetery.
