Janice E. Dornquast, 89, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Valley View of Owatonna. She was born April 2, 1920 in West Concord, Minnesota the daughter of Clifford and Audrey (Holiday) Cornwell. Janice graduated from West Concord High School, and married Orville Dornquast October 25, 1939 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. Janice and Orville lived in many different towns traveling with Orville''s Navy career, including Portage and Sheboygan, WI where she worked for JC Penny. They later moved to Minneapolis and later to San Diego, Des Moines, and back to Minnesota, where she worked for Continental Bakery out of Rochester. Orville died in 1994 and then Janice moved to Owatonna. Janice enjoyed dancing, traveling, fishing, sewing, and flowers. Her parents, husband Orville, and an infant daughter, and two brothers preceded her in death. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday from 1-2 PM. Funeral service will be held Friday July 10, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Ron Gilthvedt officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna.
