Jason Jay Dean Larson, 34, of Medford, Minnesota, died Tuesday, October 6, 2015.
Jay was born May 13, 1981 in Windom, Minnesota the son of Rick and Lori (Thompson) Larson. He attended school in Windom and moved with his family in June of 1992 to the Owatonna area. Jay worked in construction excelling at sheet rocking and was starting his own business. He met Kathleen Crawford and they had two sons, Elliot and Max.
Jay loved his boys. He would take them fishing, BMX bike racing, skateboarding, and snowboarding. He also enjoyed working on cars. Jay was a member of Daybreak Church and accepted God as His Savior.
He is survived by his children, Elliot Larson of Medford and Max Larson of Eagan, and their mother, Kathleen Crawford of Eagan; parents, Rick and Lori Larson of Medford; sisters, Renae (Troy) Kane and their children, Mariah, Ashton, and Trey of Owatonna, and Chris Larson (Monte Pena) and their children, Chloe, Alden, and Osiris of Owatonna; grandfather, Willis Larson of Windom; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Luetta Larson, and paternal grandparents, Dorothy Weinzetl and Robert Thompson, and nephew, Graham Pena.
Visitation will be at Daybreak Church on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Daybreak Church with The Reverend John Miller officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Clinton Falls Township. Memorials are preferred to the family.
