Jeanette Lois Fletcher, 96, a longtime resident of Kenyon, MN, died Tuesday August 26, 2025, at Northridge View Senior Living.

Jeanette was born on March 18, 1929, to William and Agnus Braun in St. Paul, MN. She grew up in the Inver Grove Heights area and attended country school through the 8th grade. On October 16, 1948, she married Everett Fletcher. They made their home in Inver Grove Heights and had five children: Gail, Kay, Lynn, Ed, and Todd. Jeanette was a homemaker and worked various jobs in manufacturing. She had a lifelong love of gardening, enjoyed knitting, reading, birdwatching, and family gatherings. She was a member of the Kenyon United Methodist Church.

Jeanette is survived by her son, Ed (Tammy) Fletcher; daughter-in-law, Brenda Fletcher; 11 grandchildren: Teresa Glasgow, Michelle Seymore, Diana Glasgow, Tami (Matt) Thoreson, Kirstie (Brian) Hanson, Andrea (Ethan) Johnson, Brandi (Ben) Nesseth, Linnea (Nate) Wayne, Benjamin Fletcher, Alexia (Troy) Fletcher, and Dakota Fletcher; several great and great-great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

Jeanette was preceded in death by parents, husband Everett; children: Kay, Gail, Lynn, and Todd; and five siblings.

The funeral service will be held at the Kenyon United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 30th, 2025, at 10:30 am. Visitation will be at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Lunch will be served immediately after the church service with interment to follow at the Kenyon Cemetery.
