Jeanne M. (Pollman) Knutson, 60, of Owatonna, Minnesota, passed Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Jeanne was born to George and Rita Pollman, July 12, 1957 in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. She graduated from Stillwater Area Senior High School in 1975 and received a bachelor's degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1979. She married Kelly Knutson in 1987, and they lived together in Owatonna. Jeanne retired from a career at Federated Insurance in 2018 after 39 years. She was known for her laughter and bringing a smile to all she encountered. Her hobbies included card making, panning for gold, collecting gnomes, fishing with her family, eating chocolate and drinking diet Coke. She leaves behind her husband, Kelly; son, Matthew Knutson (Mamisoa); and two stepdaughters, Melissa Mertesdorf (Adam) and Nicole Knutson, all of Rochester, Minnesota; and one brother, James (JC) Pollman (Mui Wah) of Burke, Virginia. Also cherishing her memory are four grandchildren: Maeva Knutson, Gracelyn Knutson, Cullen Grinnell, and Breckin Grinnell; and 11 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Rita (Weinzettel) Pollman and a brother, Jerome Pollman. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna on Friday, July 13th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM A private burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
