Jeannie A. Snyder, 58, of Geneva, MN died Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna, MN. She was born December 27, 1951 in Huron, South Dakota the daughter of Lyman and Phyllis (Hornig) Bich. Jeannie graduated from Iroquois, SD High School in 1970, and then graduated from Mankato State in 1974. She married Steve Snyder October 5, 1974 in Yale, SD; the couple lived in Geneva, MN. Jeannie previously was the director of Alpha Enterprises in Albert Lea, and was currently the Vice President of SAAFE, LLC, working with her husband Steve. Jeannie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Albert Lea, and enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and flowers. She is survived by her husband Steve Snyder of Geneva, parents, Lyman (and Phyllis) Bich of Cavour, SD daughters, Stephanie (and Anthony) Gentes of Denver, Samantha Snyder of Geneva; brothers, Gary (and Beth) Bich of New Holland, PA, Joel (and Joni) Bich of Reliance, SD, Greg (and Kristen) Bich of Cavour, SD, sisters, Sandy (and Steve) Atteberry of Colome, SD, and Laurie (and Tim) Madsen of Ruthton, MN. Jeannie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Phil (Anna) Hornig, and her paternal grandparents Herman (Freida) Bich. Memorial service will be held Wednesday February 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Joel Vano officiating. Interment will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Yale, SD. Michaelson Funeral Home of Owatonna, MN is handling arrangements for the family.
