Jeffrey Allen Myrick, 36, of Fridley, Minnesota was called Home to the Lord and set free on January 1, 2015. Jeffrey was born March 6, 1978 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Tom Myrick and Dixie (Summer) Myrick. He attended Owatonna High School and participated in wrestling. He was active in 4-H with art, softball, and showing pigs and sheep. Jeff's free spirit took him to many places throughout his life. He traveled and lived off the land. Jeff loved the outdoors including water, fishing, and camping. He acquired many agates from Lake Superior and placed them in his aquarium. He enjoyed playing with his nieces and nephews, which he loved. Jeff had a sense of humor and was passionate with his opinion. He is survived by his father, Thomas (Dianna) Myrick of Owatonna; mother, Dixie Myrick of Fridley; sister, Tasha (Thomas) Dahle of Hutchinson; brother, Jeremey Myrick of Stewart; nieces and nephews, Alexis, Tyler, Caleb, Leif, Natalia, and Kamaya; step brothers, Joe Rossing and Jesse Moe; step sister, Krystle Moe; and many extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Amy (Truhlar) Myrick, and Marvin and Gertrude (Larson) Summer. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, Owatonna on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home, Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to the family.
