Jennifer Ann Conlin-Schmidt, age 36, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 at her home in Elk Grove, CA. Jennifer was born in Korea on November 21, 1975. She was adopted at eight months old by Gary and Cathy. Jennifer graduated from Owatonna High School. She considered her self a life long student attending Normandale Community College, University of Northern Florida, and Case Western Reserve University. She obtained bachelors degrees in violin and piano performance and nursing. She was a member of the Folsom Symphony Orchestra and the Camellia Symphony Orchestra in Sacramento, CA where she played the violin. Jennifer loved to run, bike, play tennis and swim. She loved her Siberian huskie dogs most recently Nayla. Jennifer was a gifted musician and loved to play the violin. She loved her family and was a friend to all who met her. She is survived by her husband, Westly Schmidt; parents Cathy and Steve LaCount, Gary and Julie Conlin; siblings Casey (Stella) Kim, Ryan (Claudia) Conlin, Chris Conlin, Molly (Jordan) Abramo, Jessica LaCount, Ben (Sheila) LaCount, Elizabeth (Nick) Bartz; paternal grandmother, Violet Conlin; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Jennifer is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Francis and Helen Dwyer; paternal grandfather Alvin Conlin. Visitation will be at Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 12 to 1 pm. Celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 1 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend John Lestock officiating.
