Jerrold "Jerry" Clark, 73, of Medford, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at his home. Jerry was born May 26, 1938 in Faribault, Minnesota the son of Jesse and Elsie (Pierce) Clark. He was raised and attended school in Kenyon where he graduated from Kenyon High School. He was united in marriage to Clara Overboe in 1961 at Dale Lutheran Church. They farmed near Kenyon before moving to Owatonna where he worked at Owatonna Scrap Iron. The couple moved to Medford in 1965 and he began driving truck for Yule Transport. He then worked for Washington Scientific in Owatonna and later for Styer Trucking out of Lakeville where he retired. Clara died in 2010. Jerry loved to fish. He enjoyed going to church dinners and visiting with friends. Sometimes even with strangers. He was an outgoing man that enjoyed making new friends. After Clara died it wasn''t uncommon for him to get in his car and just drive. Sometimes taking long car trips. He always felt his best when he was driving. He is survived by two daughters, Julie (and Jerry) Moen of Lonsdale; Cheryl Loken of Medford; four grandchildren; Jesse Moen, Joshua Moen, Ashley Loken, and Heather Loken; a brother, Wayne (and Jeannie) Clark of Kenyon. He was preceded in death by his wife Clara (2010), and his parents. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Monday, January 30, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service in the church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 11:00 AM at United Methodist Church with Pastor Cindy Kennedy officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
