John Buse, 91, of Owatonna, died Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Homestead Hospice House. He was born February 27, 1925 in Hochstublau, Poland son of Johan and Rosa Buse. In 1945, John began working for his uncle in Germany until he was called into service during WWII. He was a POW in Arizona and California and then returned to Germany at the end of the war. He married Hanna Kosterke February 27, 1948 and the couple came to the United States in 1952 and lived in Good Thunder and Mapleton before moving to Owatonna. He worked at Wenger Corp for 31 years, retiring in 1987. John is survived by his daughters, Erika and Ruth Buse of Owatonna, one sister in Poland. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hanna, his parents, 5 sisters, and 3 brothers. Private graveside services were held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna. Michaelson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
