Jon A. 'Andy' Geraghty, 42, of Rochester formerly of Owatonna, died Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Rochester Methodist Hospital. He was born January 1, 1967 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Pat and Sandy (Thompson) Geraghty. Andy graduated from OHS in 1985 and from Mankato State in 1989. Andy worked as a store manager for Payless shoes and was currently employed at Menards South in Rochester. Andy enjoyed being with family and friends, golfing, Texas Hold Em, and hunting. He is survived by parents Pat (and Sandy) Geraghty of Owatonna; brother, Michael (and Maureen) Geraghty of Robbinsdale; sister, Bethany Geraghty of New York; special niece, Katherine Geraghty. His paternal and maternal grandparents preceded him in death. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday June 24 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at Trinity Lutheran Church on Thursday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Funeral services will be held Thursday June 25, at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church with The Reverend Julie Malone officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
