Jon Albert Berg, age 73, of Owatonna, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025. Born on January 27, 1952, he was the son of Albert and Helen (Rice) Berg.

Jon was a successful entrepreneur who served as the co-owner and CEO of North Central Plastics where he played a pivotal role in the company's growth and success. His work ethic and leadership, alongside his father and business partners, helped propel a thriving business.

Despite facing the early loss of his mother at the age of 15, Jon carried her memory with him throughout his life. He often spoke of her with deep affection and gratitude, and her influence shaped his character and values.

Jon was married to Sheryl (Edwardson) Berg for 20 years, and together they raised three children: Christian, Jenna, and Leah. He was a loving father and found immense joy in his grandchildren: Caleb, Norah, Alera, Arlo, Greta, Otto, Lucas, and Freya.

He is survived by his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen (Rice) Berg; his father, Albert Theodore Berg Jr.; his sister, Ellen Hanson; and his infant brother, Peter.

A private service will be held, and Jon will be laid to rest at First Lutheran Cemetery in Ellendale.

In lieu of flowers, Jon's family would appreciate memorials to go to Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna.
