Jonathan Edward Cozad, 48, of Owatonna, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at his home. He was born on April 4, 1975 in Owatonna, Minnesota to his parents, Edward and Ruth (Card) Cozad. Jon attended high school in Owatonna before getting his certificate in welding, where he worked at various welding positions in southern Minnesota. He loved to work on cars, ride his motorcycles, listen to his favorite band, Slayer, and has always found a way to fabricate new uses for various items. Jon was the person that would drop anything to help you when you needed it, and if you didn't ask for help, he would tell you that "I am one call away." He was sentimental and had a sarcastic sense of humor, in the best way. Jonathan was reliable and caring to his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Edward and Ruth Cozad of Owatonna; daughters, Essie Cozad, Feliz (and Cody) Kadrlik; sisters, Mary Beth Gasner, Candy (and Chuck) Kriska; grandsons, Cody Jr, and Leo.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 at the Owatonna Eagles from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
