Jonnette Marie Barnhart, 44, of West Concord, died Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Jonnette was born October 28, 1972 in Rochester, Minnesota the daughter of John and Victoria (Felt) Geier. She attended Kenyon High School. Jonnette married Steve Barnhart on April 4, 1992 and were blessed with 26 years together. Jonnette worked as a housekeeper at Owatonna Hospital and 3 Links Care Center in Northfield and cook for the Waterville school district. Jonnette had a love for horses and raised several that were rescued. She enjoyed the outdoors, tending to her flower beds and camping. She also sewed blankets and quilts for her family and her grandchildren which she adored. She is survived by her husband, Steve Barnhart of West Concord; daughters, Jennifer (Andrew) Bauch of Welch and Kimberly Barnhart (fianc�©, Zack Wojahn) of Mantorville; stepchildren, Steven CC Barnhart of Owatonna, Steven Butch Barnhart Jr. of Kenyon, and Sylvia Geier of Princeton; 5 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; sisters, Angela (Jesse) Geier-Mancilman of West Concord and Shannan (Steve) Groff of Kenyon, MN; father and stepmother, John and Nancy Geier of Kasson. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and mother, Victoria Geier. A Celebration of Life for Jonnette will be held 1PM to 5PM on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at their home, 16746 530th St., West Concord with a Remembrance Service at 2:00 PM.
