Joyce Dorothy Williams passed away on November 15th at Benedictine Living in Owatonna, Minnesota at the age of 88.

Joyce was born on February 19, 1934 to Emma and Fred Williams, joining older brother Harvey, followed soon by younger siblings, Richard (Dick) and Beverly. While Harvey and Dick married and raised families of their own, Joyce (along with her sister, Beverly) lived with their mother Emma until her death in 1993. Joyce attended the Laura Baker School in Northfield as a young girl. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna for many years and loved to help with Sunday School.

Joyce loved the Lord, her family and the Minnesota Twins. She was a favorite at Benedictine Living, having resided there for about 15 years. Visitors always brought a smile to her face, especially members of her family visiting from New York, North Carolina, California, Rhode Island, Iowa, Maryland or Hawaii.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brothers and is survived by her nieces Jan Troehler (Williams), Casey (Kay) Williams-Krubiner, Susan Williams and nephew Mark Williams and their families as well as her sister-in-law Pat Williams and Pat's daughter's Cathy Rosenfeld and Emily Richardson and their families.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 21 at 1:30 pm at Michaelson's Funeral Home in Owatonna, MN. There will be visitation from 12:30 - 1:30 pm.
