Judith Judy A. Miller, 76, of Owatonna, died Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Homestead Hospice House. She was born July 18, 1941 in Montgomery the daughter of Edward and Lillian (Ambros) Fierst. Judy married Francis Jindra in 1957. They had 4 children before his unexpected death in December of 1962. On June 16, 1964, Judy married George H. Miller, Jr. and the couple had three children to complete their family. Judy farmed alongside George for many years before she started working at Souba's Greenhouse and at Larry Souba's potato farm. Judy enjoyed being outside, gardening and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Donald (and Tammy Dee) Jindra of Owatonna, Dorothy (and Dean Meehl) Jindra of Faribault, Daniel Jindra (and Barb Jindra) of Owatonna, Dori (and Joel) Schierman of Cape Coral, FL, Duane Miller of New Richland, David Miller of Owatonna; grandchildren, Kandi (and Joshua) Jeno, Jeremy (and Katie Starman) Radsek, Joshua (and Courtney) Radsek, Nicole (and Anthony Simmons) Jindra, Amy Stransky, Michael (and Jessica Davison) Jindra, Elizabeth Miller, Duane Miller, Jr.; great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Hayleigh, Taylor, Hunter, Piper, Kaylynn, Maisy, Caleb, Aliviyah, Nolan; siblings, Marion (and Alvin) Filipek, Robert Fierst, Joseph Fierst, Leonard (and Lou) Fierst, Evelyn Shankey and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Francis Jindra, George Miller, Jr.; daughter, Debra Hagerud; grandson, Lucas Stransky; sisters, Joyce Kotek, Lillian Lingsweiler; sisters-in-law, Gladys Turek, Joyce Fierst; brother-in-law, Richard Shankey; nephew, Larry Filipek. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna on Thursday from 11am to 1pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 1:00pm at Michaelson Funeral Home with Chaplain Justin Ray officiating. Interment will be in the Steele Center Cemetery in Owatonna.
