Julie K. Fisher, 51, of Owatonna, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. She was born December 23, 1960 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of Ed and Donna (Newgard) Gaul. She attended Owatonna High School, Mankato State University and earned her realtors license. She married her high school sweet heart, Terry Fisher on August 23, 1977 in Brookings, South Dakota. They made their home in Owatonna then moved to Grand Rapids, Minnesota where they lived for eight years. In 2002, they returned to Owatonna. Julie owned One Stop Shipping in Owatonna. She also sold real estate for Coldwell Banker and sold on eBay. Mostly, she enjoyed staying home raising her family. Julie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She was extremely proud of her grandchildren, Logan, Adrienne, and Trevor and another grandson on the way. She had a sense of humor, enjoyed singing and dancing, playing cards, and she wasn''t afraid to speak her mind. She was a giving person and always helped others. Julie was an organ donor and gave the gift of life and hope to those in need. She is survived by her husband, Terry Fisher of Owatonna; son, Tony (and Amanda) Fisher of Grand Rapids; daughters, Karla (and Roger) Brown and Katie Fisher all of Owatonna; grandchildren, Adrienne and Trevor Fisher of Grand Rapids, and Logan Brown of Owatonna; parents, Edward and Donna Gaul of Owatonna; brothers, Denny (and Dawn Caswell) Gaul of Owatonna, and Ed (and Cecilia) Gaul of Faribault; mother-in-law, Delores Fisher of Owatonna; sister-in-law, Connie (and Kim) DeVries of Medford; many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Mark Fisher. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at Trinity Lutheran Church on Thursday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church with The Reverend Julie Malone officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
