June Marie Schreiber, 90, of Kenyon, died Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at her home. She was born April 23, 1927 in Wanamingo Township the daughter of Alfred and Alice (Romo) Hostager. June graduated from Kenyon High School in 1945 and went on to attend Minneapolis School of Business. On June 28, 1947 she married Leeward Schreiber at Holden Lutheran Church of rural Kenyon. June was a secretary at the Kenyon High School for many years. She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church where she enjoyed staying active in the Priscilla and Love Days quilting groups. June loved spending time at the family cabin near Hackensack. She enjoyed quilting, crafts, baking, canning and cooking. She was very proud of her Norwegian heritage and even traveled to Norway twice. She is survived by daughters, Nancy Schreiber of Apple Valley, Lynn Page of Eagan, Beth Schreiber of Rosemount; son, David (and Pat) Schreiber of Kenyon; grandchildren, Emily (and Jeff) Schoenfelder, Maari (and Mitch) Schwering, Allison (and Ryan) Neely, Kjersten (and Jim Hill) Page, Jaye (and Brent) Trandahl, Anthony Marthaler, Nicholas Marthaler; 7 great grandchildren, Kyra, Preston and Trey Schoenfelder, Hudson and Haddie Schwering, Jayda Jeske, Quinn Trandahl; brothers, Harris Hostager , Ray (and Phyllis) Hostager She was preceded in death by her husband, Leeward and brother, Melroy. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, Kenyon on Thursday from 4pm to 7pm and at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kenyon on Friday from 9am to 10am. Memorial services will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 at 10am at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kenyon with Pastor Julie Rogness and Intern Timothy Bowman co-officiating.
