Karen Miller, 82, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at her home of natural causes.

She was born May 11, 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the daughter of George and Dorothy (Nordgren) Williams.

Karen worked at Hy-Vee in Owatonna for 25 years and was a faithful and active volunteer at Pathways in Owatonna.

Karen was known by all as Grandma Karen or "GK" or "GGK". She was a friend to all and a grandma to everyone she met. GK always had a social event on the calendar and was up for any adventure. She loved being a grandmother and was devoted to her grandkids and great grandkids no matter how close or how far they were. She was loved and will be missed by so many.

She is survived by her children, Brian (Amy) Miller of Sioux Falls, Scott (Angie) Miller of Owatonna and Nicole (Jeff) Martineau of Ellington, CT; grandchildren, Steven (Kortney) Miller, Brandon (Sarah) Miller, Nathan (fiancée Lexi) Miller, Devin Miller, Camryn Miller, Leah Martineau and Andrew Martineau; great-grandchildren, Kora Miller, Neely Miller, Eve Miller, Roman Miller, Graham Miller, Nolan Miller and Baby Girl Miller on the way; sister, Jerri Brown of Chandler, AZ; sister-in-law, Terri Williams and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents, George and Dorothy and brothers, Chuck and George Williams.

A memorial visitation will be held at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 9, 2023 followed by a reception at Torey's, 208 North Cedar in Owatonna from 6:00 – 8:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial preferred to Pathways in Owatonna.
