Karla Dianne Oeltjenbruns, 61, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at her home. Karla Dianne Witzke was born on June 27, 1957 in Storm Lake, Iowa to Byron and Blanche (Huffman) Wiztke. She was baptized into the Lutheran faith at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Newell, Iowa. In January 1961, she moved with her parents and four sisters to Medford, MN. She was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church, Medford in 1971. Karla graduated from Medford High School in 1975. She worked at Northwest Bell in Owatonna right after graduation and worked there for 24 years. Later on, Karla sold real estate a short time for Gillespie real estate. On August 13, 1977 she married Leslie Oeltjenbruns at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Meriden, MN. They lived on the farm their entire married life by Meriden. They were blessed with a daughter, Lesley Marie and two sons Jonathan and Tyler. Karla is surivived by her loving husband, Leslie Oeltjenbruns; sons, Jonathan (Charissa) Oeltjenbruns, Tyler (Alissa) Oeltjenbruns; granddaughter, Lesley Lynn Oeltjenbruns; mother, Blanche Witzke; sisters, Alyce Pittman, Carol (Bjorn) Ottosson; 2 sister and brother-in-law's, Carleen (Jon) Stout, Sheri (Tom) Karnowski; many nieces and nephews and cousins. Karla is preceded in death by her daughter, Lesley Marie; father, Byron Witzke; sisters, Joni Smith and Cheryl Sauke Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, Owatonna on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Meriden with The Reverend Dean Smith officiating. Interment will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
