Katherine “Kat” Rose Finne, 84, of West Concord, died on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at W.A.L.T Home in Rochester.

Kat was born November 26, 1941, in Owatonna, the daughter of Raymond and Myrtle (Phelps) Dengler. She graduated from West Concord High School in 1959. She met Lynn Finne cruising the streets of “Finne-ville” in West Concord and the two were married on April 18, 1964, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in West Concord. After high school Kat worked at Control Data in Faribault and then working as a Quality Supervisor for Ryt-Way Packaging for over 15 years. Kat and Lynn had many business ventures around West Concord through the years. Kat was an animal lover especially her horse, dogs, and cats, raising many dogs throughout the years.

She loved to read, listen to country music and watch Roy Rogers. Kat enjoyed horseback riding and camping trips with the girls on the local trails. Kat adored her daughter, Colette and grandson, Justin.

She is survived by her riding partner and daughter, Colette (Lance Seltun); grandson, Justin (Savannah) Hunt; brothers, Mike (Wendy) Dengler, Dave Dengler; sister, Chris (Dean) Krukow.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lynn, parents, Raymond and Myrtle Dengler; sister, Pat Hildebrandt.

Celebration of Life will be at the American Legion in West Concord on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2PM. Interment will be in the St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery in West Concord.
