Keith "Poke" Alan Schandorff, 53, of West Concord, died Saturday, May 30, 2020 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. He was born November 25, 1966 in Rochester the son of Claude "Red" and Patricia "Pat" (Rich) Schandorff. Keith was raised in Stewartville until 1978 when his family moved to Dodge Center. He attended school there and graduated from Dodge Center High School in 1985. He then attended Winona State University where he played football. Poke worked various jobs until taking a job with McNeilus Steel in Dodge Center where he has been employed for the last 25 years. Throughout his life Poke enjoyed being outdoors. For many years he played softball, darts, bean bags and participated in a golf league. He loved hunting and fishing which included trips to Canada. Poke was outside on the golf course when he suffered an apparent heart attack He is survived by his wife, Heather (Royle) Schandorff of West Concord; daughters, Taylor Schandorff, Kennedy Schandorff both of West Concord; brother, Kevin (and Kim) Schandorff of Mantorville; sister, Kari (and Ken) Trahan of Williston, ND and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kyle Schandorff. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, West Concord Chapel on Friday from 4pm to 8pm.
