Kellie J. Hensley, age 28, of Owatonna died On Monday, September 13, 2021, Family and friends may gather at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery at another time. Kellie James Hensley, the son of Jerry and Allanda (Schroeder) Hensley, was born on May 20, 1993, in Owatonna. He graduated from Owatonna High School in 2011 and continued his education at Universal Technological Institute in Arizona. He returned to Owatonna and worked a couple of jobs before working for Rihm in Northfield. Kellie most recently was working for Stewart Sanitation. On May 23, 2015, he was united in marriage to Miranda Adam in Owatonna. Kellie became an ordained minister and officiated a couple of his friends' weddings. He enjoyed photography and was a very creative writer. He will be remembered for his charismatic personality. He had an infectious laugh and made friends easily. He liked joking around and could easily jump in and play along with other people's jokes. Most of all, he loved his family and was "the best Dad ever". He is survived by his wife Miranda Hensley of Owatonna, children Jonas and Brooke Hensley, parents Jerry and Allanda Hensley of Owatonna, sister Ashlee Hensley (fiancé Mike Shinabarger) of Owatonna, brother Joshua Hensley (fiancée Shyanne Nordquist) of Owatonna, niece Freya Hensley and nephew Zeke Shinabarger. He is also survived by his grandmother Laura Knudsen of Owatonna. He was preceded in death by his brother Scott Hensley, grandmother Susan Hensley and grandfather Larry Schroeder.
