Kelly Christine (McGovern) Mogren, age 47, of Kenyon, died Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Mayo Clinic, Rochester-Saint Mary's Campus. Kelly was born September 14, 1968 in South St. Paul, Minnesota the daughter of Terence Terry and Shawnee (O'Connor) McGovern. She attended Humboldt High School in St. Paul. Kelly moved to Kenyon where she owned a furniture restoration business. She married Adrian Mogren on May 11, 2002 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenyon. In addition to raising her children, Kelly also worked as a waitress at the Kenyon Grill. Kelly enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, the lakes and the outdoors. She is survived by her husband Adrian Mogren of Kenyon; four children; Roy Fearing of Kenyon; Jacob; Jessica; and Justin Mogren all of Kenyon; two step children Daryl (and Sara) Mogren and Cynthia (and Troy) Anderson of Hastings; two step grandchildren Landon and Audrey; her father Terry McGovern of Show Low, AZ; four sisters Dee Dee (and Dean) Wilkins of San Jose, CA; Carolyn (and Patrick) Dee of Oakdale; Theresa (and Arthur) Von Eschen of Los Angeles, CA; Angela McGovern of St. Paul; two brothers Michael (and Jassie) McGovern of St. Cloud; James (and Jenny) McGovern of Eagan; her father-in-law Myrth Mogren of Faribault; two sisters-in-law Annette Stenger of Faribault; Brenda Fletcher of Faribault; and a brother-in-law David Mogren of Anoka. She was preceded in death by her mother Shawnee McGovern; and her mother-in-law Joan Bray. Kelly's final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home in Kenyon on Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service in the church. Memorial services will be held Friday, December 18, 2015 at 10:30 AM at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenyon with The Reverend Luther Mathsen officiating.
