Kenneth 'Sudsy' L. Stransky, 60, of Owatonna, died unexpectedly Friday, April 6, 2012 at his home. He was born October 26, 1951 in Owatonna, the son of William and Olive (Felix) Stransky, Jr. Ken graduated from Marian High School in Owatonna where he played both basketball and baseball. He married Sandra Williams on August 26, 1983. He was a hard worker, working 26 plus years for Cybex. In Ken's younger years, he was an avid wrestling fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling league, skeet shooting and softball. He was a huge supporter of Sprint Car Racing and attended races across the US with Sande and Amber. Ken had a gentle spirit and a kind heart. He was very supportive to his wife and daughter and cared for those in his life. Ken carried a conversation with ease and was interested in current events. He loved his dogs and cats. He enjoyed yard work and was meticulous about it. He is survived by his daughter, Amber Stransky of Apple Valley; brother, Tim (and Jill) Stransky of Shoreview, WA; brother-in-law, John (and Jan) Williams of Duluth; sisters-in-law, Pat (and Mike) Lewis-DeVinny of Owatonna, Sue (and Dana) Miller of Austin; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Sandra Williams-Stransky. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 4 pm to 7 pm and one hour before the church service. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 11 am at Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend Dean Smith, Pastor Victor Jortack, and Pastor Jay Grave officiating. Interment will be held in Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.
