Kenneth Edward Reiter, 98, of Owatonna, died Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Cedarview Care Center. He was born October 22, 1909 in Owatonna the son of Edward and Martha (Buboltz) Reiter. Kenneth married Metha Hinchley May 11, 1935 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna. The couple farmed together for many years. In addition to farming, Kenneth was a security guard at Josten's for several years. He was a member of the Eagle's Club. Kenneth enjoyed watching softball games and loved spending time with his family. Kenneth is survived by his daughter, LaVonne Remmey of Warsaw; grandchildren, Douglas Remmey of Faribault, Robyn (and Daniel) Weed of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Bruce Remmey, Jr. of West Des Moines, IA; great grandchildren, Bruce Remmey, III of Rochester, Jacob Remmey of Faribault, Laura Remmey of Faribault; sister-in-law, Eleanor Hinchley of Medford and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Metha; son-in-law, Bruce Remmey; sisters, Helen Hofius, Dorothy Reiter; brother, LaVern Reiter. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Saturday from 1- 2 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home.
