Kurt Miller, 68, of Owatonna, died on Friday, December 17, 2021 at his home. He was a 1971 graduate of Medford High School, and during high school he was mentored by an educator and several local photographers in the art of photography. For four decades he shot weddings and senior photos. He studied fine arts photography in New Mexico and practiced his photography locally and while traveling throughout the country as the owner and operator of a trucking company for over three decades. Kurt is survived by four siblings: Kay (John) Schweisthal, Karen (Don) Myers, Karol (Lance) Mallan, and Karla Miller (Van Foreman); two nephews John Schweisthal, Jr. and Andrew (Katie) Schweisthal; and two great nieces Ruth and Louisa Schweisthal, and one great nephew, John Schweisthal, III. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Miller and mother, Ruth (Hale) Miller. A memorial service will be held at a later date
