Kyle Albert Arndt, 24, of Owatonna, died Sunday, July 31, 2011 at his home. He was born October 20, 1986 in Owatonna the son of Steven and Sharon (Hafstad) Arndt. Kyle graduated from Owatonna High School with the Class of 2005. He farmed his entire life with his father, brother, uncle and grandpa. He loved farming, animals and the outdoors. Kyle was great with animals, whether it be showing or raising livestock, his dog Annie, or the animals he successfully hunted. He was a steward of the land which was evidenced by all the trees he planted, his family farming practices and his love of nature. Kyle shared his love of nature and the outdoors with his family and friends in many hunting and fishing trips. Kyle was also a craftsman. He used his carpentry skills to help his brother with several home improvement projects and had ambitions of improving his own property. Kyle had a lot of love for his family and friends. He was always a ready participant in family activities and shared a lot of his time with his cousins. He is survived by his parents, Steve and Sharon Arndt of Owatonna; brother, Adam (and Holly) Arndt of Owatonna; sister, Staci (and Gokhan Anil) Arndt of LaCrosse; paternal grandparents, Irwin S. and Donna Arndt, Sr. of Owatonna; maternal grandfather, Albert Hafstad of Owatonna and many aunts, uncles and cousins He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Helen Hafstad. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3pm to 8pm and at St. John Lutheran Church on Thursday from 10am to 11am. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 11am at St. John Lutheran Church with Pastor Dave Klawiter officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to St. John Lutheran Church Projector and Screen Project or to the donor''s choice.
