Larry Dean Bjoraker, 62, of Overland Park, Kansas died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Lakeview Village after a courageous battle from cancer. He was born May 13, 1949 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Louis and Bernice (Moe) Bjoraker of Dodge Center. He grew up in Dodge Center and graduated from Dodge Center High School. He attended the University of Minnesota. He later moved to California and was employed by (Custom Printing) Deluxe Corporation. He married Andree Allen in Los Angeles, CA on December 13, 1976. They were later divorced. He then was transferred to Lenexa, Kansas by Deluxe Corporation. He married Ona Custer on February 6, 2000. Larry was a dedicated employee with 40 years of service with Deluxe Corporation. He retired in 2010 due to ill health. He is survived by his wife Ona Custer-Bjoraker of Overland Park, KS; three brothers, Marvin Bjoraker and Wayne (and Mary) Bjoraker all of Owatonna, and Roger (and Fran) Bjoraker of Rapid City, SD; three sisters, Kathryn (and Daniel III) Barnes of Woodland Hills, CA, Janice Phelps of Reseda, CA, and Linda (and 'Tuz') Nereson of Rochester; brother-in-law, Bill (and Merece) Olson of Kasson; many nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother, Lyle, sister, Arlene Olson, brother-in-law, Dennis Phelps, and nephew, Daniel Barnes III. Visitation will be at Aurora Lutheran Church on Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM . Funeral services will be held Monday, February 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Aurora Lutheran Church with The Reverend Jonathan Davis officiating. Interment will be in the Aurora Lutheran Cemetery in Aurora Township. Memorials are preferred to Aurora Lutheran Church.
