Laura "Lolly" E. Griffith, 81, of Owatonna died on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at United Hospital in St. Paul.

Laura Elaine Griffith was born on December 3, 1942, the daughter of Marvin and Edna (McMullen) Ronquist, in Austin, MN. She grew up in Austin and received her education there. On May 7, 1989, she married Gene Griffith in Owatonna. She worked for several years at OTC in the paint shop. Laura enjoyed trips to the casino and was very lucky at Bingo and slots. She was a good baker and had a few secrets for her cookies and baked beans. She also enjoyed the outdoors; whether sitting on the patio watching birds or her daily trip to the mailbox with her dog. In her younger years she enjoyed camping and embroidery.

She is survived by her children, Chris (Dawn) Chesney of Owatonna and Terry Chesney (Anna Hoffman) of Owatonna, Terry (Sarah) Griffith of Owatonna, Debra (Steve) Fields of Andover, Scott Griffith of Waterville; grandchildren, Bradley (Trista) Chesney, Nathan (Amber) Chesney and Nickalas Chesney, Gail (Joe) Cahil, Ryan Griffith, Ashley (Keith) Rhodes, Andrew Fields, Chasity Griffith, Michael (Marissa) Grams, Dakota (Michaela) Van Guilder, Tasha Williams, Sara DeAtley, and 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Marlene Belden and Julie Bjorge and brother Chuck Ronquist. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gene, daughter Caroline Van Guilder, sister Rosie, brothers Steve and Roger and brother-in-law Bob Belden.

A funeral service will held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be in Owatonna Memorial Gardens in Clinton Falls Township.
