Lawrence Joseph Peach, 91, of Owatonna, died Friday, December 8, 2017 at Traditions II. He was born November 15, 1926 in Owatonna the son of Joseph and Amelia (Rysavy) Peach. Lawrence attended Medford Schools. After school he worked on his family's farm. Lawrence married Magdalen Fisher and they were later divorced. Lawrence farmed near Moland, sold seed corn and fertilizer, operated Peach Trucking and was a grain buyer. For many years, he was a member of Moland Lutheran Church. Lawrence enjoyed fishing, hunting, gambling at area casinos, playing black jack, playing bingo, dining and polka music. He was an avid story teller. He loved to share his travels and life experiences through his stories. He is survived by his daughter, Annette Balzer of Owatonna; sons, Terry Peach of Boquete, Panama, Rodney Peach of Owatonna; grandchildren, Tammy (and Jeff) Larson, Wendy (and Russ) Bach, Nicholis Balzer, Cassandra (and Jason) Ringhofer; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Jesse Peach of Owatonna; sister, Jennie Wetzel of Medford and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Peach and granddaughter, Stephanie Peach. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Sunday from 3pm to 6pm and on Monday from 12pm to 1pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 11, 2017 at 1pm at Michaelson Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Klawiter officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna.
