Lemoyne Jensen, 91, of Owatonna, died Friday, September 20, 2013 at Homestead Hospice House. Lemoyne was born March 15, 1922 in Ellendale, Minnesota the son of Alfred and Laurena (Anderson) Jensen. He attended school in Ellendale and farmed with his father. He was united in marriage to Doris Raben on February 13, 1944 in Albert Lea. They farmed in Ellendale, Albert Lea and Blooming Prairie. In 1964 they moved to Owatonna where he worked for the Owatonna Manufacturing Company for one year and then for the City of Owatonna for the Street Department until his retirement in 1984. Doris passed away in 1975. He then later married Frances Masche on February 25, 1977. After their retirement, Frances and Lemoyne enjoyed many wonderful years in their motor home travels, including earning the Minnesota State Park Passport. They also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Lemoyne was also an active member at Trinity Lutheran Church. Frances passed away in 2012. Lemoyne is survived by his children, Judith (and Ellwood) Hansen; Ronald (and Patricia) Jensen; Cynthia (and Ronald) Minske all of Owatonna; and Patricia (and Kent) Fralish of Mankato. Grandchildren include Matthew Jensen; Kyle (and Jennifer) Jensen; Kristin (and Tom) Ogle; Kathryn (and Aaron) Martin; Karla (and Brian) Zufall; Erik (and Karen) Minske; Angela Fralish and Lisa Fralish. Great Grandchildren include Grayson and Zara Ogle; Alyssa and Gavin Jensen; Hayden and Evelyn Martin; Adam, Elliot and Lilah Zufall. Lemoyne is also survived by step-sons Robert (and Julie) Masche and William Masche and step-grandson Chad (and Beth) and their daughters Lily and Greta; and step granddaughter Briana and her husband Joe. Also survived by his sister Blanche Molle and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Doris Jensen; Frances Masche Jensen; infant grandchildren Chad Jensen and Jessica Minske. He was also preceded in death by his sisters and brothers-in-law Lucille (and Louis) Pechacek; Erlys (and Victor) Calverley; Arlene (and Eldo) Jacobson; brother-in-law Henry Molle and a brother Burton Jensen. Visitation will be at Trinity Lutheran Church on Monday, September 23, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church with The Reverend Julie Malone officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna.
