Linda Mae Schuler, 75, of Owatonna, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, at her home.

She was born April 27, 1949, in Owatonna, Minnesota to Everett and Mae (Kubicek) Schuler. Linda graduated in 1967 from Owatonna High School. She then continued her education at Mankato State University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in art and sociology in 1971. She then moved to Colorado and Utah for work before coming back to Minnesota and worked at Walmart in Mankato then Owatonna. She also worked at Truth Hardware for 12 years before her retirement. She loved sharing her art pieces with her family and friends. Lin had a knack for painting nature scenes and Mandela's. She also like to scrapbook and read.

She is survived by her siblings, Rick Schuler of Owatonna, Nancy Wencl of Owatonna; nieces and nephews, Damon (and Jodi) Schuler, Travis Wencl, Amanda (and Travis) Daniels, Melissa Wencl (and Adam Kelly); great nieces and nephews Alexis and Avery Schuler, Aerial and Harper Daniels, and Colt Kelly.

She was preceded in death by her parents Everett and Mae Schuler, and her infant sister.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Michaelson Funeral Home from 11AM to 2PM. Memorials are preferred to the Owatonna Art Center.
