Lois E. Hursh, 89, of Owatonna, died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born November 19, 1922 in Anaconda, Montana the daughter of Arthur and Elva (Strom) Aubertin. She was the youngest of five children. She graduated from Anaconda High School. Lois married Frank Hursh on August 3, 1942. After their children were born they moved to Helena, Montana where they owned and operated Helena Gift and Agate Shop. In 1957, they moved to Owatonna and Lois worked at Brett''s Department Store for several years. In 2007, Lois made her home at Countryside Senior Living. She was a member of The Associated Church in Owatonna. She was also a member of the Elk''s, and the Owatonna Country Club. Lois loved to play cards, enjoyed needlepoint, quilting, and pottery. She is survived by her sons, Art (and Karen) Hursh of Fenton, MI, and Bill Hursh of Minneapolis; three granddaughters, Dawn Jantz of Waterford, MI, Heather (and Ed) Rensi of Superior Township, MI, and Misty (and Bill) Kelsey of Flushing, MI; five great grandchildren, Kyler Jantz, Alex and Aiden Rensi, and Marissa and Colin Kelsey; five brothers-in-law, Dale Hursh of Owatonna, Wayne (and Frances) Hursh of Waseca, Robert (and Jeanine) Hursh of Choteau, MT, Bill Hursh of Butte, MT, and Kenneth Hursh of Wise River, MT; sister-in-law, Lynn Corbett of Salmon, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank, two sisters, and two brothers. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM . Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with The Reverend James Oberg officiating. Interment will be in the Upper Hill Cemetery in Anaconda, Montana. Memorials are preferred to Countryside Senior Living, Owatonna.
