Lois Lorraine Jensen, 78, of Meriden, died Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Timberdale Trace in Owatonna.

She was born August 18, 1945 in Waseca, Minnesota the daughter of Elmer and Gertrude (Abbe) Kruesel. She grew up on a farm south of Meriden and attended country school through the eighth grade. She went to Owatonna High School and graduated with the Class of 1963.

She worked at Jostens before marrying Ronald Jensen on June 3, 1967, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Meriden. The couple made their home in Meriden. Lois was a homemaker raising her two sons, Cory and Casey. She also worked for Axel Anderson in Waseca and in medical transcription at the Owatonna Clinic and from her home. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Meriden.

Lois enjoyed flower gardening, reading and setting puzzles. Her family enjoyed her cream puff pies.

She is survived by sons, Cory (and Laura) Jensen of Owatonna and Casey Jensen of Owatonna; grandchildren, Corrina Jensen and Porter Jensen; siblings, Shirley (and Roger) Shaddy of Buhl, ID, Marlene (and Alvin) Kreutz of Owatonna and Ronald (and Victoria) Kruesel of Owatonna and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Gertrude and her husband, Ronald Jensen (2014).

Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna on Sunday, October 1st from 4:00 - 7:00 PM and at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Meriden on Monday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Meriden with Pastor Billie Jo Wicks officiating.
