Lois Jane Lamb, 89, of West Concord, MN, arrived safely into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Circle Drive Manor, West Concord.

She was born August 21, 1934 in Grand Blanc Township, Genesee County, Michigan the daughter of William and Ada Hayward. She grew up in Flint and graduated from Flint Central High School in 1951.

On March 2, 1957, she married Leland Lamb in Flint. They lived in Flint before moving to Oxford, Michigan in 1964. Outside of the home, Lois worked as an assembly line worker in the auto industry, retiring on November 1, 1989. Following Leland's retirement in 1995, the couple moved to Sugar Springs and became members of Calvary Baptist Church in West Branch.

In the early 1970's, Lois was "Aunt Lois" reading children's Bible stories on the phone through her local church. She enjoyed playing cards, decorating and reading. Her infectious smile endeared her to many, especially in her time at Circle Drive Manor.

She is survived by two daughters, Connie (and Kevin) Ellisen of Kenmore, WA and Cindy (and David) Breederland of West Concord, MN; siblings, Phyllis Maule of Sorrento, FL and Keith Hayward of Burton, MI; four grandchildren, Aimee (James) Kliewer of Hartford, SD, Randall Breederland of Shoreview, MN, Kyle Ellisen of Kenmore, WA, and McKenzy Ellisen of Meeteetse, WY and great-grandson, Henry Kliewer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leland Lamb (2017) and siblings, Vivian Banning, Marvin Hayward, Dorothy Coon and Betty Whitman.

Lois will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI next to her husband, Leland. A Celebration of her life will be held in the summer.
